Almost 27 weeks in pic

  • Weighty Issues: Same as last week, I've been fluctuating between 128 and 129
  • Stretch Marks: Still good :)
  • Sleep: My sleep is crazy, some nights are really good with only one wake-up and others I get up 4-5 times mainly because someone thinks its playtime.
  • Best Moment this week: Hearing baby girl's heartbeat at my 28 week appt. It was a very strong heartbeat. I have an Ultrasound on Monday just to double check everything and my dreaded Glucose test.. Hoping I pass the first one so I don't have to do the 3 hr test.
  • Food: Bought some bad things that are just sooo good (um hello Strawberry Hostess Cupcakes). Since I am home now I actually have time to cook, this has been a healthy blessing for both of us.
  • Clothes: Mostly maternity still mixing in regular tees and jeans. Began looking for a dress for my Baby Shower... Here are some options I am in love with:

Let me know what you think :)
p.s. why are all the cute maternity dresses so expensive!!

  • Labor signs: I think I may have had more Braxton Hicks (false contractions) but they are hard to tell.
  • Belly Button: Poking out a bit more but its soft.. so you don't see it poking out
  • What I miss: Sleep sometimes.. appetite is a little better PTL (Praise The Lord), I'm eating smaller meals more frequently. I do miss not having heartburn, it bites.
  • What I’m looking forward too: Other than some lack of sleep and heartburn I feel so blessed to be pregnant, even my morning sickness wasn't that bad. I honestly love being pregnant and am taking time to enjoy it. Lately I've been trying to imagine what she will look like, the Hubs and I were cute chubby babies so thats a given and she will most likely have blonde hair and a good amount of it, but other than those things I'm not sure but really excited to find out. Baby shower can not come soon enough :) also excited to take the classes I signed up for (breastfeeding, newborn care and our labor and delivery tour)
  • Weekly Wisdom: It may sound obsessive but I honestly check my weight almost everyday but it helps me keep on track for gaining but not gaining too much. My goal for after pregnancy is to get more fit than I was before pregnancy.
  • Weekly WTH: Nothing too crazy this past week, a few more back aches.
  • Nesting: Is in progress!!  I have put in a lot of good routines already, Yay! oh and stocked up on some pantry staples this past week.. Who knew a bed could be made every single day and that there actually is a bottom of my sink. Must clean-out both of our cars and put in car seat in a few weeks :) Also need to make a master to-do list before bebe comes
  • Milestones: Third trimester, Hellloooo :) Cannot believe you are already here!

Adorable Lou and Lee Newborn Hairbows

Can't wait to put these on baby girl :)

  • Weighty Issues: Almost 129 lbs in total so up 16 lbs from my start of 113, right in the middle of healthy weight gain. So far doing good :)

  • Stretch Marks: Still only the itty bitty one!

  • Sleep: I moved our bed from the wall and now head facing our tv/sitting area, which means I now do not have to climb over my husband to go pee :) which some nights it can get up to 3x. Baby girl's kicks were waking me up last night, so we will see how sleep goes from now on.

  • Best Moment this week: New bed location is wonderful but even more wonderful is my new health coverage... finally!

  • Food: Hmm well a lot of things really just don't sound good and basically everything gives me heartburn.

  • Clothes: I was able to mix in some non-maternity jeans, rigged with hair ties.

  • Labor signs: Unfortunately I had my first Braxton Hicks contractions a couple weeks ago, otherwise clear and hopefully won't have anymore for a while.

  • Belly Button: As far out as I think it can go now, still squishy feeling

  • What I miss: Cravings, really loved having my cravings especially now that nothing sounds that great.

  • What I’m looking forward too: Baby shower, now that the date is set I'm super excited.

  • Weekly Wisdom: Balance

  • Weekly WTH: Just baby's kicking last night, it was fierce and often. We'll see if it will happen again.

  • Nesting: Oh you know just moved a full bed on my own.. Also bought baby a hamper but not much else. I have lots of clothes for girlie but I will wait till after my shower to wash them all.

  • Milestones: This is the last week of my 2nd Trimester!! Crazy!

  • Weighty Issues: Fluctuating between 125 and 127 depending on what time of day it is but still in healthy range, yay! I've been better about upping my fluid intake and trying to eat a little healthier.. not so easy when all that sounds good are hamburgers and root beer.
  • Stretch Marks: None on the belly, just the itty bitty one on other area
  • Sleep: Better, I've been getting up when my hubs leaves for work (anywhere between 5 and 6) or between 6 and 7 on his days off. Although last night somehow our dish drying rack fell into our sink and the husband and I wake up. He asks me what it was and in my sleepy state tell him some story about it being a stack of platters falling or something to that affect and then tell him not to worry about it and go back to sleep.
  • Best Moment this week: My friend Kim felt baby girl move at church on Sunday, its really fun to have people feel her :) Garage sale last Saturday was epic, I made $80 and then sold my Cricut on Monday, to be replaced with a Slice. I now wish I had more things to sell. Got a wicked sunburn on one corner of my forehead and on half of my hands?! Got baby girl's car seat! Cell phone was left on top of my car after selling the Cricut, flew off but somehow survived. My first Giants home game last night, they won so baby and I must be a good luck charm. Brian "Sweet Cleats" Wilson did awesome in the ninth, I think his arm is back I just wish he would trim the beard a little more...
  • Food: Loving my oatmeal and the awesome chili cheese dog I had at the game.
  • Clothes: Wore some pre-maternity jeans last night, worked out just felt like they were falling down. Really can't wait for dress weather, please come soon!
  • Labor signs: No other Braxton Hicks, thankfully
  • Belly Button: Poked out more but I have a half-innie, half-outie normally so not really much to poke out.
  • What I miss: Nothing, life is too good. Could use a little more motivation to do work things.
  • What I’m looking forward too: My baby shower :) we finally set the date to be in June when I will be 34 and a half weeks, we will see how that goes lol
  • Weekly Wisdom: Register online, I honestly don't have the patience to do this in-store and I can research items much easier from home.
  • Weekly WTH: Consistently annoyed with our next door neighbor that smokes and never checks to see if our front door is open when he does, yuck. Thinking I may have the hubs talk to him or write him a very sincere note :)
  • Nesting: Garage sale mode made me clear out a lot of stuff now just trying to utilize every inch of our apartment in the best way. Goal this week is to clean out hubbys car and organize craft area.
  • Milestones:  Baby girl is almost 2 lbs and the size of an eggplant :)
